Students may check out two LMC items for a
one-week period. Kindergarteners are allowed one item. If an LMC item is damaged and/or lost, it is the student's
responsibility to pay the replacement cost of that item. Overdue notices are
sent home on Fridays. A student will also be
charged $1.00 for a new library card if one is lost or damaged beyond normal use and
wear.
The Internet is available for
student use on all networked computers. Internet use is restricted to students who are under the direct supervision of a trained
staff member and to curriculum related projects. All sites are reviewed
before students are allowed to use them. Students are never allowed to use a
search engine (such as Google) while at school.
