Welcome to the PTA!
What makes up a
PTA?
First, it’s the Parents. Without the active support of our McCarty
parents, we would be unable to provide the services we feel that benefit our
children. Studies of parent involvement overwhelmingly confirm its positive
effect on children’s well being and academic achievement. Partnerships between
school, home and community benefit all of our children. Truly, it does take a
village to raise a child!
Second, it’s the Teacher, or more appropriately, the staff. We are proud
to have most of the McCarty staff as members of our PTA. We work closely with
them to
develop programs and provide services that enhance the learning community.
Finally, it’s the Association. One person - or even a few - cannot
accomplish what
we do each year. We are proud to have over 300 members, many who contribute
their time and ideas, to help us be our best.

registration and ways to get involved. You can also find contact information for
our Board and Chairpersons or download a membership application. Check back
often to see what we are up to throughout the year!
